Thanks for the responses...

Dwight - I took your advice on moving the sides of the footstraps together so they grip my feet tightly. I just finished setting them up, and I can already tell it's going to make a world of difference.

Can't wait to get back out there tomorrow...

I'm switching over to a TT board right now (Underground WaveTray 147) and I'm getting my edging down. However, I seem to be having a hard time keeping my feet in my footstraps once I get moving pretty fast. As things get a little choppy, and I'm trying to lean back and ride the edge, my feet start s...

Well, I took your guys advice and spoke with the Naish Hawaii guys at length about this. Basically, they steered me in the direction of the Aero 12m (rather than the X2) for a couple of reasons: 1. Wider wind range. Since I won't be getting a quiver of kites for awhile, the Aero has a much wider win...

Something I've been thinking about lately: what's the explanation for why a new kiteboard retails for about $650-699 US $ when a top of the line snowboard costs $500 (and many great models cost $400-450)? Materials and construction are not disimilar. I'm thinking it's mostly an artificial construct ...

is you scroll through the postings in the "boards" section under the "kiteboarding" section in the classifieds at iwindsurf.com, there's probably been about 10-15 ss skare series boards listed there over the past month or two. Granted, many of those have probably been sold by now, but the fact that ...

I'm thinking of buying a Slingshot Skate series board, either the Drake or Zeppelin. Anyone have opinions on the quality of these boards?

I've seen a LOT of people trying to sell used ones on message boards and thus I'm wondering if they have some performance issues...

Thanks for the advice. What do you think about the Airush "Lift" or Cabrinha "BlackTip" kites for me? I can kite ok already, and don't want to get a kite that's too extreme, but I won't have the money to get a new kite in 6 months, so I need one that I can "grow into". Since I'm living about 10 bloc...

Hi, I'm pretty new and am looking to buy my first kite, probably a Naish X2. I hear this is one of the best, and I need a kite that I can use for quite awhile (getting more than 1 kite is not going to be an option, financially, for awhile). I'm about 60Kg (135lbs) and will be mostly kiting in 10-25 ...
