Why make a bigger bow when 16m does the job.
I'm 110 kilo and fly a 16 crossbow at 14/15kns . Riding in wind below this range is a waste of time on any size kite in any case.
I ride a 135 Airush Protoy 06. Its a cracker jack board in light or high wind.

Does anyone know why the Shockwave has a total line length of 24 metres and the other Bow kites are about 27 or 28 metres.

Mate it will all fall into place as you get more and more water time. I had the exact same issue when I began kiting... at the age of 52 ...The best thing to do is to give yourself more time travelling down wind before you start edging. This will allow momentum to occur and you will feel more balanc...
