Re: My Biggest Boost - Found Lost Picture

That's a huge boost, I would say around the 30m to 33m mark. You must be super happy with that and the pic, well done. Thank you. I had no idea my friend had even taken a picture until a few days later when he sent it to me. I thought for sure I had lost the picture and just by chance inserted on o...

My Biggest Boost - Found Lost Picture

This is me in 2018 during a cold front in 35-40 kts of wind. Epic day and I was lucky enough a friend caught the biggest boost of my life. I lost the picture and recently found it on a thumb drive I was about to toss into the rubbish bin. Anyone have an idea of how high they think this is? To me it ...

Re: Ram Airs Crash in 2021

TRIGGER WARNING Notice to Ram Lovers: the following content is potentially distressing, including graphic references to ram air failures, underperformance, and inferiority. COVID sucks. BUT … what has been *REALLY* upsetting in the last year has been the RIDICULOUS claims from ram lovers. Despite t...

Re: Jumping high, how to get speed before the jump in choppy waves

The best way to get extra height is to kite loop just before you edge to boost which generates a ton of tension in the kite lines then sending it hard and fast for the monster boost of your life. I'm not saying you will land it but I can guarantee you will go very, very high.

Re: Weird knee pain after (only) cold sessions

Hypersensitivity of nerves in the joint: In the case of a knee injury, the nerves in the knee joint can become overly sensitive to cold weather because of inflammation, scarring, or adhesions. Increased thickness of joint fluid: The fluid in the knee acts like a shock absorber, and in cold weather i...

Re: WOO with Smartwatch?

Woo has the worst customer service in the kiting industry. I personally will not buy any more of their products.

Re: Stem Cell Treatment for Shoulder?

Stem cell looks like it could be a holy grail of medicine along with things like immunotherapy. If you’re in the US your options are probably limited thanks to the pro-life crowd preventing much needed research. Here’s a talk with Joe Rogan and Mel Gibson.. You're clearly a liberal idiot. Take your...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

Watched a kiter ride a 12M FS Soul recently in 10 kts of wind on a TT. He weighed 86 kilos. Very impressive for a heavier rider in such light wind on a TT. Are you sure about the wind? I have a speed3 12m and I'm 60kg and need at least 12kn to plane on a directional. DrLW I am positive on the wind ...
