Re: Will spleene ever make the zone board again?

The new surfdoor looks like a mini Meyerhoffer (surfboards). I know that the Meyerhoffer works a treat. Yhey look really funky but they supposedly surf really well. In either case it is great to see Spleene exploring new idea with their boards...always leaders in this sense. Respect!

Re: WTF? What's going on at Core?

@Corbett sorry bro I missed your question. Keep the deflator in and remove it before final folding. Put your finger in the hole to keep the flap open to bleed all the air out. If you keep the deflator, the flap might remain open, in cold weather it will happen for sure. In hot weather, not sure how...

Re: WTF? What's going on at Core?

Sometimes people complain about something and the problem might just be their own personal attitude. I have had nothing but excellent service, totally professional support, total satisfaction with product quality and design from CORE for over 5 years. I like things that are designed well and work we...

Re: Tips and advice on 4 students : 1 instructor

Exactly, you get what you pay for, although 1 kite 2 students can often be better as it helps students learn by watching each others mistakes. I agree with that comment. If the students are matched up well and they are progressing at a complemetary rate this can be a good option. It gives the stude...

Re: Tips and advice on 4 students : 1 instructor

:thumb: alamos, Learning how to kitesurf isn't rocket science, but there is lot more to a responsible and professional lesson than just showing someone how to fly a kite and let them drag in the water. I think a lot of instructors get away with selling inadequate lessons by trying to deliver "insant...

Re: Tips and advice on 4 students : 1 instructor

I agree with FLandOBX and the others of similar opinion. I've taught in many places, with short lines, standard lines, etc...etc...I've been teacing for over 10 years independently and for other schools, some of whom wanted me to teach multiple students with one instructor. It is OK with the trainer...

Re: What ever happened to those rotating foot straps?

Did they die a death? where they just a fad? Do people still use them? if you do are they good? Where can you get them?, if they are still available? I am not sure if they are still available for sale but you can try to find the guy who was making them here or on facebook. Henning Küntzel I have on...

Re: Teaching on land - should lines be short?

In some cases it is more of a necessity than a preference, e.g. ff the beach is really narrow and not much shallow water to work it...(so maybe not the best place to teach anyway?) however I feel that students learn better with the standard lines because the kite dies not turn as fast and they have ...
