Re: 2017 North Nugget

Yes I saw the same pic, but not detail, and I agree this might just be a mock up. I'm interested in if they are going to make a 5'5 again.

2017 North Nugget

Surf Expo coming up! Does anyone know if North plans to make the Nugget in a 5'5 for 2017? Thier website only shows the current version in a 5'2. I've seen a pic on the web of this years model but no specs.

I dont get a ton of water time with work and travel so my thinking is the rails will help me keep the board steady to get going will be...

Re: Ride Engine Harness.....another review

I bought a Ride Engine custom harness and have used it about twenty times now so thought I would post my experience and impressions. I have never tried a seat harness. My only other experience is with a 4 year old Naish waist harness. Though it kind of fit nicely like an old pair of extremely broke...

tkettlepoint: how do you use this set up? Do you have it hardwired to your car and pump up there or is that cylinder a small tank that can be mibile once filled?

Re: Back Stalling Advice

With trimmer all out and bar all in park your 14m2 at 11 or 1 on beach in it's low wind range @10kn Look at your back lines they should not be totally straight but have a sag of about 2 inches If back lines are totally straight the kite becomes unstable and will want to back down Pull in trimmer as...

Re: Back Stalling Advice

Body size/board size/experience can all play a factor. As a bigger guy, I could easily back stall a kite with a smaller board. Increasing board size with my larger kites and lighter conditions made a big difference. A little depower to minimize the back stall when you power up the kite... IMO get a...
