yes it was visable...but this wind is really from another direction, behind the mountains...luckyly not kiteable ..so everyone was out of water..

Thanks that, all the locals could predict what would happen in 20 min....Good to trust the expreience..All kiters taken out of the water..Just the ones, more than 50, parking on land blown away, many of them lost..Nobody injured, but loads of hard work to be done..

The problem is not with the tape you use actually..Most probably it's the humidity case...try your tapes with a fully air conditioned environment..

Check out windguru for Alacati.. Windguru is pretty good for Alacati wind...

to be honest, the wind is not likely to be expected that light, the reason for that, IMO, is the heavy rain a couple of weeks ago...if you are still in gokova, just check out the sand in front of the schools, it's still wet..i've just started to ride without a shorty a few days ago, i used to leave ...

you'll need both of them...i don't know what percentage you'r gonna use your kites but you'll have wind with an occurence of 98 percent

Hi, I am going to gokova end of June, what is the water temp like then? Do I need a wetsuit or will board shorts be sufficient? I hope the wind is closer to 20kts, otherwise it's boring riding underpowered on big kites. Really looking forward to it though, meant to be a awesome spot. Cheers as bein...
