Re: DSD Stallion 5'4 - anyone rode it?

The guys from the factory told me there was no quality issues with my board. Expect the same to happen to any Stallion board. I bought the Evo in the new helium tech in size 5'1. I rode it for a total of about 16 hours so far. I'm not sure if I prefer the Evo over the Vader at this stage (except for...

Re: FireWire Evo KiteSurfBoard

Yes, I do. With the modified deck, I have only buckled one board. It cracked just beyond the 3/4 layer of cloth. My front slipped too far forward and I came down too hard. Re: FireWire Evo KiteSurfBoard

He has just been kiting with a stock Helium surfboard and after a few sessions already, no heel dents and solid. The Firewire kite construction has always been too heavy for my taste. A 6oz 3/4 top deck with another 4 oz front foot patch is all you need for kiting with the FST. Their kite construct...

I got a Vader in Helium tech.
Weight is pretty insane for a kiteboard.

No dents after 10 sessions or so.
So it seems to hold up to my abuse.

Re: FireWire Evo KiteSurfBoard

Any feedback from current owners of the board in helium tech? Here are some photos of my 5'1, I haven't been able to properly test it yet. https://image.ibb.co/fXov45/photo_2017_08_28_14_02_12.jpg https://image.ibb.co/mthYrk/photo_2017_08_28_14_02_15.jpg https://image.ibb.co/edacZ5/photo_2017_08_28_...

Re: difference between positions where the kite sit in the wind window

A good wave kite will sit where you want it to sit. And where you want it to sit depends on many factors, including the wind direction ( on, cross, off - shore).
