Hi turf and surf, I'm really interested in the 17 cloud as well, for lightwind waveriding, basically the same conditions like yours.
Can you really surf with the 17? Is it fast, really faster than a "normal kite"?

Thanks for your inputs, so here is the second question. I'm 83 kilos, and I've always ridden C kites. I have a 6.4 surfboard (strapped or strapless) and a 150 mako twin tip. I'm mostly into waveriding. I don't mind to have two bars so I can play with line lengths... Which rippehr 08 would you choose...

Any inputs on those kites? Wind range? Are they grunty? Is it doable to ride them with a 50 cms bar? Thanks[/code]

I might go on trip around Cabo san lucas in Baja california. I know surfing is good but what about waveriding????? I mean good side shore conditions, with good waves as I saw in a peter trow's vid a year ago. When is the best time of the year???? Thanks for your answers.
