Re: Kiteboard size

Bigger board, you can have a smaller kite. It helps for water start and edging in the beginning

To start doing tricks, I would go with a smaller board, if you can maintain the edge.

Struts vs Strutless Kites

I have only flown Kites with Strutes. So I am asking what is the difference between Strutless Kites and Kites with Struts. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Re: Need help choosing first kite!

Yea, the best is to take the lessons and buy your gear.
I wouldn't suggest to buy a trainer. Trust me when there is wind, you will most probably be out there with your kite. 8)

Re: How can I find out if a store is a confiable shop?

The first Kite I bought was online through a forum. The guy said paypal was fine, then he said it would be cheaper if we didn't it direct. I told him I would pay the extra $25 to ensure that I don't get screwed. Better to be safe than sorry.

Re: How to improve your pop

Thanks for those with helpful answers. I do not have previous board experience. @bc-sf: Yea the season just ended, so I guess I want to some exercises in the gym (we don't have cable parks here). So is it more of a jump squat with one leg? Also I heard, not sure if this is true, that some people pra...

How to improve your pop

So I have been riding now for 6 months now. I started to learn how to jump and I finally understand what it means when somebody says pop. I currently can get some big air and a really good pop when I am moving to the left. (left front foot, right back foot). However, when I am riding moving to the r...
