Re: Kiting in big surf

. - When you come unstuck make sure you put your kite above you Peace - Nice thread Mr G but that's one thing you really don't want to do if it's anything but offshore. In onshore or side/side-on if you're a sitting duck and put the kite overhead the wave will drag you under it and leave the kite a...

Gofer it. I've been using the Bare wakeboard impact vest for about 2 years.

Yo Sestri K-loops, h-passes, and various flavours of raileys. I dunno about the G spot but the Tribe produces smooth power through K-loops, not spikey like high AR kites. I used the 15 with a pulley bar mostly last summer for unhooked stuff, h-passes, loops, raileys and stuff I don't know te name of...

Hi Sestri, I've been using the 15-7 2005 except the 11 since last season, you want to slow the smaller ones down with the inner rear pigs because they're fast, 20 or 25m lines. 15-20cm of depower throw is fine. It's a medium Ar kite designed for waveriding so nice and reactive and stable, more on 20...

Hi Tom, It's pretty light. The construction is honeycomb sandwich which I know because mine's taken quite a beating in storms this winter and is already showing it's guts. Don't know how much longer it'll last. Awesome board, never been down a wave so fast in my life or had so much range out of anyt...

Hi K, There's an article on this on Eric's site http://www.cabareteairforce.com/news/173/ARTICLE/1182/2006-02-12.html 2 schools of thought on what kind of board to use. A fish will start slightly earlier but has the same limits as in surfing, so good for low wind and small waves. A pintail board rea...

wat kite and board are you using ??????? Different stuff, but mostly Naish Boxers and a Jimmy Lewis board. I try to hold my edge and lean back as I send the kite back, and when I feel the lift I try to jump into it. You're losing the edge and slackening the lines at the last moment . Stop trying to...
