Help! Board off

I've been kitesurfing for around a year - on the water once a week. Recently developed the balls to go for jumps with one foot out the strap. A whole new world of thrills, excitement and pain has opened up for me. I ride X2's 10 and 16 with a 150 twintip and here's the problem: When I fly the kite t...

Re: I seen this on the news...coming to a town near you

[quote="Johnny TBKS"] This is some pretty scary times we are living in these days. Scary times indeed. Spare a thought for all the expat kitesurfers out here in Saudi Arabia. We are still kitesurfing in the Arabian Gulf and plan to continue indeffinately despite polluted beaches, scary drivi...

I would not mind cold weather.

I kitesurfed at the Persian Gulf where the air temperature was around 50 Deg C on the beach. Shallow water was around 30 Deg C.

Water was also very salty.

Thought I'd just throw that one into the pot.

Stay kiting till it won't stay up no more.

I had the similar addiction problems when I started windsurfing 10 years ago. Problem is that over the years the girlfriends were never as stolked about the sport as I was. Kitesurfing is turning out to be far more addictive than windsurfing. I'm going to have find a girl that kites so I'll never ha...

There seems to be so many shackle options but from what I've been reading here none are perfect. This topic deserves more attention and research dollars from the kite makers.

We all want to rip out there and live to talk about it.

Looks like the guage is the answer.
I'll see if the gurus at Naish can supply the correct psi.

Thanks for all your suggestions

The guy at the shop pumped it up for me and then flicked it with his finger and said "remeber, thats the optimum sound it should make"
Is there a better way - I may be tone deaf

There is probably an optimum air preasure for the front bladder of each make of kite.
How hard is hard enough? An air preasure gauge connected to the pump might be a useful accessory.
I've just started on an ARX 13.5 and I'd appreciate some advice.

Cheers
