We will be in town tomorrow through the 12th, what are conditions like now? Should I bother to bring the kites/harnesses? Gotta take a day off of skiing, right? :thumb:

DOH. Possibly these things are not very well advertised. Even the consierge at the Grand Mayan didnt know anything. Well, then again, he also said there are no motorcycles for rent in acapulco (which later in the week we were told otherwise by a cabbie), and that getting to walmart is "difficult". :...

acapulco had great wind, we left gear at home.

But we forgot our lines. BTW, there is nowhere to get lines there. We had heard that the area gets next to no wind at this time of year, and based upon the advice of some kiters from somewhere, we left our kite gear at home, save for one 4.5m foil, to fly just in case, since it is so small, i...

That's okay. I think I remember snow. When there was snow, there was just enough wind to go about a hundred feet in half an hour. Ahh.. michigan. Winter wonder-where-it-went land.
Looks like you had some fun for sure. :D

I would gladly take it off your hands. We have only been body dragging so far, havent even had a board to try. During our day long lesson, by the time we were up to the part where you get on a board, the wind totally quit on us. i would pay you shipping no problemo. Let me know, cleenjeep at yahoo.c...

The hook is easily accessed through the zipper area of my regular winter jacket, which has the second zipper slide. Then a simple button keeps the coat shut beneath the hook. Although, I have foiund that the waist harness makes it very hard to move around, and get back up after a fall. It limits my ...

I have a similar problem I think. I have a four line foil that is designed to work with those banana shaped handles. Will this type of line set work with my regular kitesurf bars? I would rather not fly with two different handles. This is a kite we have had, I am still trying to convince my wife tha...
