Re: Core XR7

Several years ago I demoed a 13.5m XR5. I thought the bar pressure was light to medium compared to my Rally. Several here have mentioned the high bar pressure on the XR7. Was my impression of the XR5 wrong or has the b.p. increased over the subsequent iterations? I know it's a somewhat subjective q...

Re: Core XR7

I am 210 and on xr6 12m its almost a 1 kite quiver. BIgger board with light wind optimized rocker totally sliding upwind in 12knots and normal board happy well into high 20s. Great kite for power. Some people complain slow turning but wtf who cares if you are lit. If you are used to other kites you...

Blast from the past - Post your first kite related post

Had a few laughs going through old posts and amazed at just how far the sport has come. Hi Listen guys please help...I've been riding WIPIKA AB's for the last two years and in all that time I've flown then with the Re-launch bridle attached. I have just upgraded to a new 2002 11.8 AB and decided to ...

Re: Kite Board Hydro Foils available NOV 2017

Just saw North foil. Interesting how little surface area between F wing and fuse. The board nose has a lot of flex. Heavy as most alu set ups are. F wing seems THICK! Interesting mold joint? on fuse very noticeable. Did not get to fly it as was cold and owner left before I could. See Airush KBHF ad...

If you are new to foiling, you may want to start with foil closest to back of board and then move forward in very small increments as your pitch control improves.
Thought as much. So the more forward the mast the more front foot pressure needed.

When we had a chance to try the board we just put the mast in the middle of the tracks and the straps at a middle position and it worked fine for all of us. We were all experienced riders.

Re: North Pro-Foil board settings?

Thanks for detailed help and encouragement Peter. Any pointers as to where to start I could place mast on board. Sorry I see pictures did not come through on original post. North Pro-Foil board settings?

Hi Guys, Any suggestions as to what the alien code on North Pro-Foil means? Jokes aside. What would be a good starting point for a beginner limited foiling experience? Have my straps in forward position, going to take back strap off I think or might take off all together. Have some Kite wakeskating ...
