Harness riding up is because you are letting the kite too high above you and not leaning back enough against the pressure. You should be transmitting pressure through the harness to your feet and to the board.

Yup blew my ear drum getting slammed, and have tinnitus now. Had unhooked and released to leash and still hit the back of a wave that hard that I had a mild concussion. I still don't use a helmet, prefer the freedom, but sure do pay attention to my surroundings. Did notice the front heading towards ...

While you do this you can sprinkle sand or sugar on it to leave a nonskid surface making the kite safer

+1 is used internationally you will find it even in AU Freedom is a funny thing, it doesn’t mean you should do anything you want. And while you may think not wearing a helmet or having a functioning quick release and a leash ultimately affects only you, that is not true. this is a ridiculous assert...
