Re: Vegas 06 or Vegas 08 16m for a 95kg rider

Thanks to all for the contribution. I bought today a barely used 16m Vegas06. The quality problems of Vegas 08 made that decision easy.

Vegas 06 or Vegas 08 16m for a 95kg rider

Which one is better in terms of

a) Low-wind performance
b) Overall performance (Lift, Hangtime, Turining Speed, Bar Pressure)

Vegas 06 18m and Rhino 6 16m I owned before and liked them both, but now I am looking for a 16m Vegas as my biggest kit.

Thanks

Been shipping camera equipment and other expensive stuff to Fuerte various times, normally stuff gets lost at Madrid Barajas, no issues with Fuerte so far. Travel insurance is like 15$, congrats to your new quiver mate, or was it your first flight ever and you had no insurance? Compensation ...

bularoo

I am 95 kg and had the bularoo in use for 5 month but didn't like it in terms of grunt and lowend. The bularoo grunt and lowend pull is only useable when you ride in flat water with high board speed possible. In waves with strong current where I only can ride slowly this kite was not fun for me and ...

Any reviews on Raven2 20m ?

Hi,

I am currently searching for a reasonable alternative to my BFK21 (got 95kg, like riding well powered) and do not like bow kites in big sizes.

Has anyone tested the Raven2 20m and can comment on this kite with respect to turning speed, low end, bar pressure,....... :thumb:

Thanks

Globerider 2006 Website ? and other GK stuff

Still the old site is online with 2005 gear in online. No update for 2006 ? I love my 2005 GK Lifts, why they don't make use of the cool dacron TE in 2006 and why they say good bye to flex struts. My opinion is that the flex struts stabilize the canopy in gusty and high wind conditions and avoid flu...

Improve your riding skills and use a good board for choppy condition (e.g.F-One Sk8) , then you will manage these conditions easily.
