Re: Tarifa to Vladivostok

You are a Legend Bojan! I think the most dangerous part is Italy :)

I always watch Turkey from the plane when crossing over to the EU, gorgeous beaches from above!

All the best and good luck!

Re: vac pump (a fridge compressor) problem

Thanks guys, all valid points. As said, it is not about the technicality of the setup, ie for fans see: http://geoffg.net/fancontroller.html No vac tank coz worked in confined space for years. That has changed now with a new house. It is about the new pump which just refuses to start in less than 3m...

Re: Tuning the Flysurfer Boost v1 9m? Flutter issue

So here it is guys, a proof that all attachments are waaay off from the design OR the lines shrunk so badly (which I do not believe). This is particularly important for lines a1, a2 and a3 since we talking 4cm shorter a3 line: Boost-LP_9.jpg If the kite is powered well and the line a3 is shorter tha...

Re: Tuning the Flysurfer Boost v1 9m? Flutter issue.

Ah, ok, thanks guys. I pump my kites by the 'ping test' :) No gauge:) ~60kg only. Got the bridle measurements from the FS site, will check them. I'm not concerned about flutter when turning, that's expected. It flutters in normal flight at the window edge. That's annoying. It just does not like 25-3...

Tuning the Flysurfer Boost v1 9m? Flutter issue.

Heya, here is a problem: something is not quite right with Boost v1 9m on 25-30kn wind. The tips are fluttering, very annoying. Also has a tendency to 'jelly fish' - if that is a proper term, basically behaving like an under pumped kite even tho it's not. That happens when riding, not jumping. Than ...

Re: vac pump (a fridge compressor) problem

Hi Kerry if is not about sealing the bag so much. The bag is sealed, sometimes better sometimes not so good. It is about topping the vacuum from time to time. If the pump is starting in ie 3-5 mins after being off, but vac holds only for 2-3mins, there is a risk of loosing a vac and destroying a pro...

Re: Very Lightweight TT board sleeve/cover

I know the place :) Bali, Sanur Beach. I've made more than 10 bags there, each around AU$8.

But this days I would make my own just to practice some new skills :)
