Re: My first sessions with the Flysurfer Soul 12, a short video

Ok, I get it. It is a brand new kite and 'sealed'. But think of this, if that well sealed what will happen when crashed on a LE? Something must give away tho. Sure, the vent will open, but again how if that well sealed ? :naughty: Time will tell I guess. I do have bad experience with Boost1, so will...

Re: Foil Kite advice Chrono, Hyperlink, Soul

If I'm not interested in maximum upwind angles (foil boards go enough upwind with any kite) or maximum speed, (I'm not participating competitions), is there any reason to choose chrono or sonic instead of soul? Is jumping performance much better with race kites like sonic, compared to soul or speed...

Re: My first sessions with the Flysurfer Soul 12, a short video

To be fair, it Looks quite slow being 12m only and on 50cm bar. I would think 11m Sonic is faster, duno how user friendly it is tho comparing to Soul. The Sonic does jumps really well, due to a skills only. The re-Lun. in my books, depends on how is put into the water. Not front LE, not TE, but the ...

Sorry, I've made a mistake opening your post, I've thought maybe something changed and the World is not spinning around your stories...

Re: When things go bad!

Cheers for posting mate, that is great.

One thing tho, where to buy it? The only one in AUS I could find is this one, but that's not the same:

Re: Leash wrapped around harness hook

It sounds like you guys are doing handle passes behind your backs and you need long leashes. For most of us, who never do these handle passes, a short leash is the way to go. Here are ones from Ozone and Ion. It is a pleasure never again having a long leash snag on things. Just attach this leash on...

Re: Wash or not wash your kites

Always washing after every drop in salt water. my kite is still super crispy after 200 hrs per year. The fine lining is in drying, not washing. It is clearly visible on the kite where salt deposits are after washing and where it needs more attention. If anyone thinks that salt does not 'eat' through...

Re: Best way to make a prototype

^ C'mon Plummet, how can you share your experience when riding only a DIY foil? Please be true to yourself and us, you've never ridden anything else (apologies if you were, but even if true, for how many hours?). Sure I do, I have also a carbon Chinese one, so what. I'm not an expert in a field tho ...
