Panama Trip

Hullo Everyone,

Heading to the Panamanian Pacific Coast for a few days in early November. Anyone have some local info in addition to Toby's last trip?

On a separate note, wind has been off in the Northeast this fall until this week when we are finally seeing some 20kt+.

Thanks.

i venture all of our individual local spots when you have not been out in a while and you get that irresistable itch that makes you tail it out of the office early afternoon just in time for the wind to pick up and after an excruciating 30 minutes or 2 hours in the car and another 20 minutes freneti...

soul surfer, bring your biguns. 25 if you have it, otherwise 20,18 and 16. we may get stroked by a big wind once in a blue moon but its unpredictable at best. amagansett beach side kiting is open, only issue is parking permits. they whack you with fines if you dont have a sticker for the summer - $2...

just get q-power lines man. think they are $100 for 500'. you can get 600lbs, pre-stretched. be wary of the pro orange which bled for a good few sessions staining everything. i just use the regular q-lines and they are solid. been kiting on 1 set for 2 years now... peace ps: i totally agree 200 is a...

Ya, wind is typically light on the ocean during the summer months. Napeague harbor, is somewhat more reliable during strong sunny days due to late afternoon thermals. Thats where most of the boys kite. It's NE across the island from Amagansett, about 10 minutes away. Let me know if you need more inf...
