Re: kiting in Israel in June

Haifa has great beaches, but I don’t know specifically about wind. The Sea of Galilee (Kineret) and Eilat are blessed with wind. The Sea of Galilee is much closer to Haifa. The city next to the Sea of Galilee is Tiberius, and there are places to stay there because it’s a tourist destination (mos...

Re: Maui in late April

Thanks folks.
It seems like a choice of 9/12 or 7/9 if I can only take two.

Maui in late April

Hi,
I am going to Maui in second half of April, and I wonder about kite size and general conditions.
What wind range and kite size to expect? I am around #150 (~70Kg) mostly interested in flat water rather than waves.

Any local forums to get advice and local tips?

Thanks :D

Another vote for live2kite.
Evan is a nice guy to do business with. Good to have him around. Got my Waroo from him when they were hard to get.

Sorry for these obvious questions but my hebrew is non-existant and the search engine that I could find doesn't autotranslate websites. There you go: Folding kiteboard Dimensions: Length: 125 Cm Width: 38 Cm Weight: 2.4 Kg including accessories 100% carbon PVC foam core (Herex) Thin board, 12 mm at...

That flysurfer beanie hat is super. Its there in the top with North Face beanies. Probably tested in a wind tunnel and computer 3d models. I run through a lot of beanies because I keep loosing them, the Flysurfer is one of the best. Even my GF thinks so. The only problem is that you have to buy a ki...

North makes water relaunchable foil kites?

North makes water relaunchable foil kites?

First time I hear about it:
http://www.north-snowkites.com/html_con ... nt_en.html

Click on kites -> Huski LTD. Closed cell, water relaunchable foil. Looks like an old flysurfer. Warrior?

Beautiful website.
