Re: Wetsuit itches

I had an issue with my suit when it was new (hyperflex)- probably something in the lining that caused an itch after awhile on the areas that get some pressure/movement. It felt fine everywhere else though. Try a 1mil top, or a rashguard. The itchyness did get through the thin layer of a rash guard, ...

Re: Extreme itch due to wetsuit? Fresh water? red dry blotches..

I'm happy to say that whatever was on the surface layer of the hyperflex wetsuit interior has mostly settled out, though I still occasionally get some mild irritation when my harness is loose and causing some rubbing. I picked up a 1mil neoprene top, and that really helped - it's a much better barri...

Re: Who Has Right of Way?

Maybe not a rule, but general etiquette- downwind opposing tack shouldn't gybe/tack just before or immediately after upwind rider passes. This makes it so the upwind rider can't jump.

Re: Durable board recommendation?

I have the f-one foilboard (bamboo) and have busted or cracked the nose 3 times now. Apparently I must be hitting it with my calf or shin as I go over the front from cavitating at speed. If it breaks again I'm either lopping off the nose or going ghetto with a home carbon layup. If I can get a kfbox...

Re: Woo vs Xensr

Just checking in if anyone has received the newer (2017?) Xensr? I wanted to purchase one, but they weren't ready to ship in time for a trip in December 2016. I saw the 'preorder' status keep getting pushed back every month, and email inquiry about current shipping dates merely stated that they are ...

Re: Why doesn't everybody side rig their lines in launch position?

I think most people are just used to launching how they have always done and aren't considering that there might be a better way. Yeah, at our local beginner spot, people tend to set up how they were shown the first day, regardless of the wind direction. I've had a kiter yell at me that they've bee...

Re: Boosting in the unnatural direction!

I suffer from the same affliction. (50% less capable on one side) It's a head furk for sure. Often I would start rotating forward, and more often pearl on landing. I've found that doing a front hand grab and holding has helped both of those issues. I also visualize and practice the motion of shoulde...

Re: Control Bar - Accidental Eject

I've never had Naish bar release without any input. That being said the times I've had unintended releases from 2 actions. Once while dragging up to my board, the board or my arm must have hit the release from below while trying to orient (i'm very conscious of that now), and also when releasing a f...
