Re: North Dyno some help with small sizes

I'm a 150 lbs. On a 25+mph ave windy day the 2015 7m Dyno will scare you until you get use to the "new looks" by being so high.........I don't think they make a 6m. Only 5,7, in the small sizes. Hang time is also terrific.

Re: Best cities to live for year round kiteboarding

The Pacific coast of the US. Year around honest good wind, but you have to travel between south Baja ( La Ventana ) November thru March.
Then April thru October between Los Angles and SF Bay, California. It doesn't get much better than that if you can do it........

Re: Best Waist Harness for a Life-Long Seat Harness Guy?

I have a custom Ride Engine waist harness. Cost me $500. I'll sell it for $250. Tried it a few times and went back to a seat harness. Some people just aren't made for a waist harness. I had waist harnesses for many years, when I was younger, but as I aged the less tolerant I became of them. lesterdo...

Re: Foil Board DIY

It's going to be very heavy unless you can remove a lot of wood from the middle of each board before you glue them together.

Re: North Neo 12M as light wind kite

To say the Neo " too heavy " is an exaggeration. Yes the Mono is lighter and will stay in the sky in ultra light winds, but the Neo is a better performing kite in slightly more wind. It's a trade off........

Re: Airush Sector

One thing folks seem to forget is that speed is very important in light wind, therefor boards with flatter rockers are usually more fun then wider boards. For people around 160 lbs the original sector 52, imo, was way more fun than the later 54, because it was both faster and lighter. Also, for ligh...

Re: Foil board arrival!!!

For your first rides......do not use a fast kite, like a Ozone Edge or any other race kite. Whatever size you choose you'll be way happier if the kite is slow, stable, and stays in the air in light wind conditions. You want to focus on foiling and not have to think about the kite. I've found that wa...

Re: Any more thoughts on the North Juice?

How come it's so expensive, especially considering its only a three strut kite ?

Re: 15m North Juice V Ozone Zephyr

Hey thanks Westozzy, very good review.
When I ride very light winds one of the things I'm concerned with are the holes. The Edge hangs in the air pretty well, how about the Juice ?
