Re: Ride Engine harness bar question

Tried it out in a 3 hr wave session. Really nice harness. Very comfortable and supportive.
But I think I will try the 12" bar though. Def could be wider.

Re: Ride Engine harness bar question

Thx. I am 33" and so far winning the battle of the bulge. Med harness fits great. I hear what you are saying about the CF 12". If it was 10" and pretty flat it would be less of and issue but it needs to contour if longer. I haven't actually been on the water yet with it so I'll try the steel 10" and...

Ride Engine harness bar question

Just got an RE harness- the 2017 model. They recommend and sent a 10" steel spreader for a medium harness but it looks short and it is compared to the Dynabar sprwader it replaces. The 12" looks to be the better choice especially for riding toe-side in surf. Anyone using the 12" with med harness? Al...

WTB- Mystic Footstraps (symetrical)

I have had a pair of these for a while now and really like them but they are starting to wear out on the inside- any vendors out there have a new pair (of this older design)?

TIA

Re: NP Surf wetsuit sizing?

Can't speak to other brands and their relative sizing.
I'm 6' 172lbs and a MT in NP sizing. Use their sizing chart- very accurate in my case.

Re: Let's talk about sex

Ballonboy, I could kiss you for confirming what I half wished were true and half feared. I think it is the near brush with death that gives us the extra kick. Freud recorded time and again that proximity to death is a huge libido booster. I think it may be bigger than death, maybe it's just the lim...

Re: Let's talk about sex

Is this thread for real? Assuming it is, I used to have a great session followed by a great session. I'd arrive at my GFs usually with a towel wrapped around me and sandy feet. She always seemed to be happy to see me (but you never really know). I do know I always felt better for it and trust she di...

Re: Advisable Launch positi

Better red than dead.

Think about it. When hot launched or more powered than you thought, how often are you pulled backwards? Precisely. You get pulled towards the kite. In this case the sea. When in doubt keep it low and away until at waters edge.

Much larger margin of error for red.
