sounds like you might want to stay away from the 14 because it is still kind of a "big" kite...the 8 is a powerful 8...I can ride it down to 17knots (and up to 25+) or so (I'm 185 and ride a mission) I love the 8, well I really like all sizes in the right wind...the challenge is to find the right tw...

yeah...for the most part...every once in a while you would have to bust a right and head back in...and the last 10 miles were more down wind...

you probably want a 10 and 14 (depending on the make) I think of sizes like s,ms,m,ml,and l...like t-shirts...which translates to: 8,10,12,14,16 or so...the more you get the better!!! If you only want one maybe a 12...
