I used 590 as my setup for sometime but upgraded to higher profile race wing(s).

just out curiosity, why preinflation is needed? Is this dictated by some kite models (like very old ozones and panshes, mentioned in the thread)? maybe windshadows and tight spaces? I never felt a need to do this with my souls.. if there is enough wind for the kite to stay in the air, it will lauch ...
