Re: Best beginner destinations in the world?

For the best beginner destination, look for:
- knee to waist-deep flat water
- steady winds
- no crowds or obstacles

If you're in the US, these spots have all of the above:

- Florida keys
- OXB (NC)
- South Padre Island (TX)
- Barnegat Bay (NJ - about an hour from NYC)

Re: The All-New AV8 Collection from Cabrinha

Who cares about the name!? I've spend some time on this foil and it's amazing. Super stiff, fast, and stable. If you like boosting, riding fast and in complete control , you should seriously consider this setup. In my opinion, it's the best production foil on the market. As for the kite, it's simila...

Re: Flysurfer Soul vs Ozone Hyperlink V1 - Video Comparison

I helped okk to tune the kite on this video. To clarify: - the back lines on the brand new FS airstyle 3.0 bar were way too long and had too much slack at full power. - there was no setting (knots) that would shorten the lines enough to have it properly tuned, so we had to slide the floaters off and...

Re: Foilboarding in Florida Keys

Key Colony beaches. launches are small and tricky, but it gets deep quick. Helps to have shorter lines here. Also, Coco Plumb beach - have to walk out couple hundred feet, but better launch.

Re: Review of the Nobile NHP SplitBoard

Thanks for the response - my problem is that I can't find anywhere to go and ride boards side by side to compare :) Looks like I'll keep shopping the used market for now Here you go: http://greenhatkiteboarding.com/2015-flysurfer-flysplit-m-134cm-kiteboard-1522.html http://greenhatkiteboarding.com/...

Re: Review of the Nobile NHP SplitBoard

Thanks for sharing the link! 9 lbs eh? A little heavier Jan I would have guessed but probably still light enough. I wonder if anyone has experience with one of these against the FlyBoards Flysplit? It's a tad bit heavier due to the connection. but not by much. We have Flysurfer Split boards here as...
