Re: Moses 2018

I think a flatter bottom would work better on a "freeride/freestyle" if thats what the T38 is. Anyway great price/quality relation.

Re: Marginal wind kites ?

Today i had a good experience regarding marginal wind: It was 4-5 knots measured on the beach, and i went out with a R1V2 19m in 17m lines having to be carefull in manouvers but i could say "confortable", not having to fight the kite in any way. At the beach there was: - LEIs -> Ocean Rodeo Flites, ...

Re: Foil Kite advice Chrono,Hyperlink, Soul

Re: Foil Kite advice Chrono,Hyperlink, Soul

Regardless of your choice, choose Ultralight model in your biggest size (quite important), on the others the normal version is ok.

Also the Chrono V3 is much closer to a "race" kite, then any of your other options.

Re: Marginal wind kites ?

Peter I cannot refrain to participate ! :D If the (Interesting) topic is on the ultimate marginal lower end ability, i.e. being able to launch , go out of coast in the water, waterstart and stay upwind. Then to me the Conceptair Pulsion is the winner and i think that most testers will confirm. In 1...

Re: Marginal wind kites ?

We have had several threads about this, but would like to start one again - now where we have more options to choose from, and probably many have got more experience now and might be able to compare race versus freeride UL foil kites. Which kites seem to work the best in marginal wind for foiling ?...

Re: 3-4 degrees upwind angle

Its alot at top level, but at "club" level or even most of "national" level, the most important is to not crash manouvers.

Re: flying foot switch - advice needed

Learn where you need to have your kite, and how you should react when something goes wrong in a way you always crash away from the foil. This normaly needs a few more dangerous crashes to get the info needed to be safer on the next ones . Re: Crashing in a Safe Way. How? I'm crashing, crashing, cras...

Re: Moses 2018

Hey Chuck! Come see us in Houston when it gets cold up there! I moved the mast back about 2 inches from where I ride the 558. So that may give you a starting point. Thanks! I moved it forward more yesterday on 558. I have to get everything forward to make room for 633 637 arrivals! Would love to ki...

Re: flying foot switch - advice needed

The kite should be high so you can "hold" on the bar and be able to fly way if something goes wrong (for that you should not be underpowered), you should "hop/ollie" just before the foot change so it creates a "neutral" position of the foil for a few seconds. IT IS MUCH MUCH easier with a bigger win...
