I had to laugh at whoever said no one likes dope in oregon, everyone out here smokes dope! Most people are on some kind of drug , but choose not to advertise it. Drugs are drugs, wether it be marijuana or caffeine. Personal responsibility is an issue regardless. Puff tuff! Peace

I am sending the kite to slingshot for them to decide my fate. I live In Oregon , USA. I don't think this kite is repairable nor did the 2 shops I showed it to. Lesson learned the hard way. Hopefully the slingshot guys will take pity on me and hook me up somehow. My whole quiver and both boards are ...

slingshot fuel destroyed in surf

Hello, I just returned from the ocean with the remains of my fuel 10, and boy am I bummed! I dropped my kite just outside of the break and when I got it to shore, the whole canopy had basically seperated from the struts! There is a hole between the middle 3 struts. I don't think it's repairable. Is ...

So what about a Drake and an SX 141 for lighter winds? It almost seems that the Drake might not get used as much, but I guess different conditions call for different boards. So what is the bottom end on an SX141? I have heard that they will start to plane at 6-10 Mph, depending on weight. I kite in a...

I appreciate all the input! I am still leaning toward the LFT but am intrigued by the SX 141. The LFT seems like it will get you going if there is wind at all and since I allready have a Drake, the bigger lightwind board makes sense. I am still a total beginner as well and I thought The LFT would in...

little fat twin

Hi, I am riding a drake now with a fuel 6, 10, and 14. I am looking for a light wind board and was considering the LFT. I am 130 lbs and most people recommended an SX 141. The LFT seems to be the ultimate light wind board. Any comments would be great. Thanx! (I was told the LFT would be too big for ...

front and back line lengths

Hi, I just hooked my new slingshot bar and was flying a 10 m fuel. The wind was kind of light so I rigged the kite to turn the fastest. The kite was not filling with air so my friend suggested I lengthen the backlines and shorten the front lines. I did this using theknots and the kite filled immedia...

Thanx Guys, I am going to try and splice it and move the broken line to the farthest knot out on the leader. If I move the others to the back knots then hopefully this will work till my new lines get here. Thanx again. Also, what are the best replacement lines to get? I have 2002 fuels. Peace!

splicing broken lines

Hi, I just broke one of my lines and cannot get new ones for at least 3-4 days. Any chance of splicing lines temporarily? The wind is starting to blow and I don't want to be with out a kite. Thanx
