Re: Snowkite Season ON - in the N Rocky Mtn High Country

Noah,

Always appreciate your reports! How about starting a running thread for southwest montana region conditions? Doesnt seem like too much breeze in the forecast but snowpack is shaping up.

Re: King of The Air: Finals Video

You are right on. Hard to squabble too much about the results when the scored moves are unknown and potentially done off the cameras coverage. As awesome as this event is there is room for improvement: 4 riders at a time?!? very difficult to see all the action for judges. You would hope there would ...

Re: Wake style board recommendation

If you can consistently stay upwind you are ready for boots if you want to ride 'em. They can be a pain in the ass early on but if you commit and stick with them for a dozen sessions or so there is no going back. Riding a board with nice rocker and some flex coupled with boots feels so much easier o...

Re: Boots for Free Ride?

EDT, I think it was perserverence towards the goal of landing the mobe that drove him.

I'd ask you why you would tomahawk your kite, blow a bladder, fix it with random available materials, just to repeat the tomahawk again 12 times in a row? You cant land a tomahawk. :)

Re: looking for a 20m2 old c-kite.

I have two '06 20m Torches. funny thread here cuz i just fired up a session on one last week. just having some fun in light wind for a bit, the kite is fantastic for unhooking and surprisingly fast. after a while the wind picked up a bit and guys dropped to their 10s and 12s but i kept on the 20 and...

So I'm driving on I-80 bound for Denver and the trees are shaking, forecast is 20-30 nnw, thinkin bout stopping for a lake Mac session. How does northerly work there? I rode it years ago on a south but I know I'd have to choose a different launch for N.

What is camping situation?

Thanks!
