Re: Royal

Sure you are not oversheeting the kite massively??

Oversheeted it looses power and feeling. When trimmet just right... it's just right :)

It's especially important for unhooked performance:

Re: Back Roll Kite Loop Handle Pass

L3 = Kiteloop backroll backside HP. some acutally find it easyer that a normal KL HP as the backroll tends to put you closer to the bar before the pass is initiated. However, you need more power to be able to complete the rotation before reaching the top of the move and then pass the bar. In an L3 y...

Re: Light and Fast....

Hi friend, If you feel like the kite does not catch you and it is a fast kite, it's probably too pivotal in turns ans spins rather than produce flying power which will pull you through the air, but also catch you again. Nothing more sucky and scary that beeing super high in a loop and the kite just ...

Re: Royal Era in gusty conditions

Pump it hard when going out in gusty conditions. Like alle other kites I would say :) It's a really nice kite, so I'm sure you are gonna like it. I just got the new twintip - a stunning looking orange 132x39 beauty. It's 16 knots, sunny - hell... I'm going to ride my new board and my 10 ERA :thumb: ...

Re: Light and Fast....

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you want? Some of the fastest turning kites, produce NO power while turning, which sucks i.e. in kiteloops - is this what you are looking for? There is a difference between a fast kite and a spinning kite. here are my comments on some I have tried: REV 11 is SL...

Re: Your experiences with Royal Solo !?

Hi, I have a Solo 11, which I have used myself and on our kiteschool. In general terms the Solo is a direct easy handling kite with good low end and much depower. It's easy in all areas but offer good high end performance. The kite sits a little further in the window compared to the ERA, why I reall...
