Re: Super simple very minimal bar/chicken loop system

The ideas is great. I am going to make my self one. Yes I agree no flagging line is a gamble. An accident can happen at any time. :thumb:

Re: Slingshot SST vs Ozone Reo

I had 20 , 23 and 27 on small medium and large bar. I like the 20 line with the small bar (17 inches) on all my kites but on the light wind, I used the 27-meter lines on the 23-inch bar. Also I used the 27 meter in a spot that has a lot of wind shadow. cheers

Re: Perù wind conditions

5 meter only to be use on the south of peru (punta caballas) where the wind is super strong but the wind is offshore. Don't bother taking the 5 mete for Pacasmayo o Mancora but now that I wrote this I jinks it. I have seen the north with very strong winds. I am taking 5, 7 9 and 12 to make sure I am...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

17 or 18 knots is not light wind. Any good 12-meter kite will pull you on 17 or 18 knots. cheers

Re: Slingshot SST vs Ozone Reo

The smaller the kite the faster they fly. The do the same on all size
1-drifting amazing
2-easy relauch
3- a few time I flew the kite back to shore with the line cross after a wash on the surf
4-I have been overpower on the 6 meter on a 30 + day

I am not Ulx

Re: Slingshot SST vs Ozone Reo

I had 6,8 10 and 12 2016 sst kites. I sold them because of to much power when looping but the drifting is amazing. also 1-very well built 2-easy relaunch 3-medium bar pressure I like them a lot but for surfing, you need to loop the kite and not being pull of the board. I ride NEOs and I am not going...

Re: On Shore Wave Kites

NEO kites 1-can loop with out being junk of the board. Very good for onshore waves redirecting the kite to keep up with the wave 2- amazing upwind 3 relaunch is a+1 drift amazing until you don't buy one or try the kite for several days you don't know what you are missing yes they can jump but it is ...

Re: Liquid Force solo wind range

I own the 15.5 v1 since the start of the Solo model. The kite is amazing and always get out there when everyone is waiting for the wind to pick up. I though the clouds where better. the answer is: You can get going on a twin tip from 10 knots depending on the board size, current and your weight. It ...
