Re: Big kites can jump

And me with 42 for sure will not try them :P Glad I'm not the only one using old age as an excuse ;) Мe too!!! I'm same age as Toby. :n...

Re: Want a good seat harness

It seems that the Naish Kite Pro seat may have had issues with leg straps breaking?! I used a mystic seat harness at the weekend - not idea which one it is - it looks v basic - but although comfortable, great hook position, superb for loading/boost, it felt like I was being castrated every time I j...

Re: New Airstyle Tricks 2014 - Toby Braeuer - Trailer

Toby, You definitely should start production of special airstyle kites (which is good for light wind or learning as well) with smallest size about 12m2. Make the huge depower on flat kite and you go.
Call the new brand "Braeuer Kites"-sound bloody good! :thumb:

Re: Airstyle tournaments

KOTA has almost nothing in common with Toby style! Half or more of the competitors wore boots including the winner. Most were trying for massive loops with super lit landings. They were in high wind on 7-10 m kites. Jessie's signature move in those conditions is a kite loop handle pass. http://kite...

Re: Cold weather wind range 18m Dyno

I do ride 10 years from +7 till +40C locally and never felt difference. The wind just become stronger with more density because of temp dropped. But when fly on powered paraglider I felt about 15-20% power more in +10C then in +40C.

Re: Small kites jump higher? Nope!

People, the kites are different! For example I can use my 12m2 kite till 26knots (13m/s) as I use to be overpowered (I'm 63kg) but I have about 90% depower. Many kites does not have that huge depower so can not be used for such conditions. Even more then my weight kiters use smaller kites at the con...

mine start to fall apart after few months!!!
You will be wonder as I use my Mystic Force Shield for 6+ years now! It really soft on the bottom that makes more freedom for board off. The harness a little worn out but still works!!

Re: Line extensions for Airstyle

I use to have the 30-32m lines since the the flat kites where produced. I can say that it always work very good for airstyle! The kite become slow turning (one of the key factor for airstyle) + you can harness the upper wind that is usually faster then lower and when you steer the kite it gets a kin...
