Re: Cabrinha H1 or H2 users?

Is it easy to just replace the straps and keep the pads?

Re: Cabrinha H1 or H2 users?

Hey guys, any more insight into these 2 bindings? The H2's sound nice but I worry they will be hard to get your foot into and won't allow you to move your heel to adjust your stance.

Cayman Islands in May/June?

My wife, 4 year old son, and I are looking for to go on a trip sometime on May or June. We want to go somewhere in the Caribbean and I was really hoping to be able to kite while I'm there. We've been looking into the Cayman Islands because it looks like an awesome place with fun things thatb the wif...

Re: How to keep water from shooting up wetsuit

Thanks for all the responses guys. Very helpful.

I guess I'll just buy some velcro straps to start and see how that works. Any particular straps y'all use?

How to keep water from shooting up wetsuit

Ok...I'm fairly new to kitesurfing. Now that it is cold here in North FL I have had a couple sessions recently wearing a wetsuit. I always kite in the surf and chop and water always gets shot up into my wesuit on my front leg when I hit some chop. My wetsuit ends up filling up with water and unable ...

Re: Dakine Fusion harness riding up...why?

Thanks for the input guys. I will try tightening the leg straps, I haven't been doing that very much. But I thought the whole advantage to having a seat harness(especially when your a beginner) is that its doesn't ride up. Even once you have experience, you will be boosting airs which is going to pu...

Dakine Fusion harness riding up...why?

Ok I'm fairly new to the sport. I was using a waist harness for a while before I recently bought a dakine fusion seat harness because I have back issues and wanted to make sure I protected my back as much as possible. I know these seat harnesses are supposed to be good about not riding up but I have...

Re: Freeride/All Around Kite for Beginner/Intermediate

Ok well seems like I'm going to get varying opinions on what kite to get but sounds like all 3 are good kites. I don't know that I'm good enough yet to really picky. All seem to suit my needs and I can grow into. I find it interesting thought that all of the kites considered all around kite (well I ...

Re: Freeride/All Around Kite for Beginner/Intermediate

Thanks for all the suggestions! I think I am going to go with a new/lightly used 12M for now and get a 9 a little later. 5th line kites are out of the question for me because I already have a good 4 line bar. Here are the kites I'm looking at that seem like good options. 2013 Ozone Catalyst $575 - u...

Re: Freeride/All Around Kite for Beginner/Intermediate

Nitro3 12m has a super huge wind range. I am 180lbs and have ridden it 12-25 knots on the same board. To me its a no brainer, get the Nitro3. But everyone has an opinion and kites they love. So in your opinion, its better to have a new 12M kite (that will probably work in about 80% of the windy day...
