Yes, a review would be nice. I'm curious how these might compare to the 07 Waroos. These two are on my shortlist for upgrading quiver. Price wise, I believe Griffins are significantly less expensive. Hoping to demo both at the local beach, but really chilly around here now.

Hey Charjulio, I experienced something similar on my Rage II-KPO setup a number of weekends back. Got caught on my 12m when winds picked up to about 35 knots. It flattened out like heck and I thought it was going to invert at one point. Yes, shortened back lines and less of a problem afterwards. I'm...

Just reporting back on the 12m Rage II with this setup... It definitely depowers the kite and the pulleys do move, but sometimes under extreme situations funny results may occur, like an almost inverting C kite. Given my weight of 205-210 lbs, I usually fly my 12m from about 20-30 knots. I wouldn't ...

X, Charjulio... looks like good mod to me. Thanks guys. X, tried your #s on both the 17 and 12 over the weekend. They seem well calibrated to me. Good going ! If others are having probs stalling etc. and are tired of fiddling with lengths, could just try X's #s to see if they work for you. Didn't ha...

Thanks very much for your reply Bill. Just to confirm, in the case of scaling from 17 to 12, do you mean SQRT (12/17) = 0.840168, as a rough starting point ? I'll see how that compares to X's 12m setup. Off topic, have you been following the thread, "Next year bow kites-Evolution". http://www.kitefo...

Very nice pics Xtream... thanks. To confirm, this is your Rage 2 17m. Front bridle: 131" Front pigtail to last knot: 8" (3 knots, 2" separation, do you usually ride middle knot on front as well? I usually leave adjustment on rear, so this might mean 6" front pigtails for me) Rear pigtail to last kno...

This mod seems to be gaining some popularity among WW Rage 2 flyers. I wonder if those who have this working well could please upload the dimensions of their parts. Should probably list them on Windwing forum, perhaps here as well. Question for Charjulio & Xtream, Char mentions rigging KPO line as l...

How's this working out for you? If your setup's working well, would you mind telling me the length of your front bridles, front pigtails, and rear pigtails... on your 17m it looks like? I rigged pretty much the same thing recently on my Rage 2 17m. Only had the chance to try it once. Seems to signif...

Sounds good, I think I'll try it as soon as I get back from Hatteras and scrounge up some pulleys and lines.

What type of material did you guys use again? I was thinking Q-power line and some really small pulley.
