Mate you bought the pro model and you are beginner? - Who the hell recommended these kites to you. You should be using the Flow and at most the lift, but preferably the former. Mate the factory setting on the pro are fine, you just bought the wrong model man. I've kited for four years, and still use...

'Sq' Like yourself I started on the new wave foils, then tried a 2001 LEI - hated it, then went to the perter lynn arcs, then to flysurfer - 7m, 9.3m, and 16.5m - was convinced LEI's sucked. But like you I tried a 2003 airush lift, slingshot fuel, naish x2 and the North Rhino and toro and was amazed...

>Keeping the flow laminar over the top wing is not the key..... getting that sucker turblenent as quick as possible is the key. Is think I said Laminar as possible over the top of the bottom wing. The top wing yes I agree needs turbulence theorectically - ah yes Reynolds number, whta a pain in the a...

If the wichard accidently releases you lose both chicken loop and safety - and it can happen when you want it to the least. If you use a double sided spinning shackle (just reduce your chickenloop rope length if too far from bar), you can attach the safety via a clip on the top rotating shackle. Als...

Yeh bring both, but you will probably be using the 17m the most this time of year - change of seasons - the winds are erratic - although yesterday was 25 knots by 12 o'clock - beautiful - should be 15-20 today - nice!

I've tried the 15.5m Airush Pro, very fast, you get very high, but you must fly really hard. Can't leave this thing at 12 it will fall out the sky - only for real experienced riders - but one awesome kite.

I believe the future of kiting will involve a three line bridled lower wing, attached by inflatable struts to a inflatable upper wing (or bridled). A stacked kite that uses the same principle as the arcs stacked will create more lift, and will turn faster recquiring less kite size. The accelerated a...

Sq' Yeh I agree with you on hangtime for the pyscho - and how high is really how much hair you have on your balls really. 7m in 40 knots - man that is very very sick. I had a 7m for 6 months and took it out max in 30 knots, and got scarely high - flies too fast in my opinion in these high winds. Too...

Very good Sq' you seem to know what you are talking about - I use flysurfer and Airush LEI and i agree, all things being equal, I go higher on my LEI and have more hangtime.

Cheers
