Re: Apple Watch Series 2...

This looks brilliant and a reason to buy a 'smart' watch.

Will it be launched on Android / or is there an Android equivalent?

Ethiopian Airways baggage

Does anyone have any recent experience taking kitesurfing kit with Ethiopian Airways?
They say they have a limit of checked in baggage size of 158cm (height + length + width), how strict are they on this? My board is about 180cm.

Diani Beach, Kenya. Dec - Feb kite size and shared office space

Is there anyone here with some good knowledge of Diani Beach, Kenya? I'm looking to relocate myself to Diani Beach for a couple of months during this European winter and have a couple of questions. Are there any co-working spaces / hot desking spaces to rent? I don't need anything fancy, just a reli...

Re: Protection for eyes?

I just use normal sunglasses and clean the lenses with anti fog spray for diving masks before I get on the water.

Re: After Tarifa : what other spots around?

Tarifa is not great without a car, plus the hassle of getting there. Essaouira is a good, you can walk along the beach from the old town to the kiteing spot. It's cheap and you can stay in a Riad, which are good for solo travellers. You can get a bus from Marrakesh or there are flights to Essaouira ...

Re: Ryanair sports equipment 2017? "normal" or "large"?

I have called up Ryan Air on this twice, both times the person was unable to tell me whether my kit was large or normal sports equipment, which is ridiculous as all other airlines provide clear weight / dimensions. I still never fly with them, it's like they go out of their way to stitch you up. I'd...

Re: Fuerteventura September - kite holiday

I went early Sept to Fuert a couple of years ago for a week, there was no wind at all. I guess it's a bit hit and miss at that time of year

Re: Taking a kiteboard with Etihad (Bag too big?)

Hi. I've just flown London - Vietnam with Etihad so have kept a keen eye on your post. I decided not to take one bag because of the sizes mentoned and conflicting advise when I called them. I put my board in one bag and kites in another. The board bag was over the dimensions on the web site but I ho...
