Re: how to crash give me your tips!

If it is a crash where I have time to see it coming - I am usually able do whatever necessary to minimize damage - kick board off, redirect kite, or try to land relaxed, etc. But the jumps where I really get hurt, I don't have time to think or do anything. My last bad one - it was 30 - 40 mph winds....

Re: How many sessions does this kite have

Looks like the pigtails on my 2010 Airush Lithium 12 meter. I think they maybe left off a "0" in their ad. Looks closer to 100 times than 10. That being said - my old kite is still going strong. I just hope you didn't pay too much for it.

Re: Foot stuck in strap during Water Start

I have certainly had my share of situations where I only had one foot come out of the straps during a jump or a trick. The second I feel one foot come out, my main priority is to kick the board off of my other foot. I have seen too many times what happens to joints when you crash with only one foot ...

Re: New Ride Engine harness review

Will they ever come back with a custom option? He says he is going to come back with customs, but he needs to finish his work with the production models first. Cool - my current harness is still going strong. It is a testament to how nice the custom builds were. These new ones look really nice. :)

Re: New Ride Engine harness review

According to the descriptions on the website - there are three types of materials of varying strengths and stiffness used to make the shell. The shape of the harnesses are based on averages of sizes and shapes from all the custom harnesses they used to make. They simplified and streamlined their spr...

Re: Whats the dumbest thing you will admit too?

Overestimating the thermal protection of double wet suits on a winter day with a water temp of 37 degrees and air temp of 39 degrees and deciding to do a 3 mile downwinder with limited exits. After 45 minutes in the water - I was very lucky that I only lost my kite and board. SI units please 2.7 C ...

Re: Dynabar is the shizzle

What setup are you using...the sliding hook and return straps? Yes, rope and elastic. Another session today, TT and Dialer... Fa-bu! The rope has stretched some though - should I retie the knot? I wouldn't worry about redoing the knot unless the stretching is putting the bar out of your reach at th...

Re: Airush bar options

What do other Airush flyers like to use for alternative bars? What have you had good luck with? I am tired of the limited trim adjustment on the Airush bars. Yesterday - my trim strap broke. I am ready to make a change. I've used a Best RP bar many times with newer Varials and Lithiums with no issu...
