Re: Ozone Edge for beginners

I love the Ozone Edge. However, I would not recommend the Edge in any size for a beginner. I would also not recommend a 19m kite in any model for a beginner. Finally, I wouldn't recommend lots of light wind sessions for a beginner. You'd do much better finding an all-around medium aspect bow kite (S...

Re: Fastest way how to set up your kite

This is a funny thread. If you really want to save serious time and get on the water faster, then quit your job and move to the beach. :cool2: Or, second best, work remotely and ...... move to the beach. :thumb:

Re: Hydrofoil Videos

nice video and some tips on foot switching What a great way of explaining that. I think I want all of my foiling how to videos to be by a 10 year old from now on. ;) Me too. The older I get, the better I can relate to 10-yearold's conversations. She's awe...

Re: LF MaxFlow Valve Leaks After Tomahawk

......What I'm assuming happens is the impact of the tomahawk forces the rubber flap of the MaxFlow to swing away from the seal. Now if the outer cap wasn't on at all this would immediately re-seal as air started rushing out but because the cap only allows a trickle of air out it isn't enough to re...

Re: Foil kite longevity

as I am the only kiter at my spot I always reverse self land it so does that decrease the lifespan as its hitting beach each time What do you mean? Launching a foil kite is very simple and not damaging for the kite at a 45° angle. You lift one tip and you get the kite up, and that's it. There shoul...

Re: What Happened to Ocean Rodeo?

We're more than ok :) My name is Nesan, the Marketing Director at OR. After some talks we thought that kiteforum would best be a place left for kiters to talk to other kiters, or a "no brand interference" kind of place. We have our posts up in a brand section of the site and our other content get p...

Re: Bridle Tags on a Cabrinha contra 15

I have a 2017 Contra 15m and I believe the bridles are also labeled "17". The replacement bridles I bought for them are also labeled "17" so I think you are good to go. Not sure if the "17" refers to 2017 or maybe the 15m and 17m share bridles and that's just what they're labeled as. Cool... this i...
