Re: flying foot switch - advice needed

Foil Why learn to tac when not a racer?? Because it feels great to learn something new. Because it is a challenge. Because you're a foiler. Because when you nail it it feels amazing. The tack is difficult, but not much more than the flying foot change to jibe. The tack came first for me. Try tack to...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

I've not really chased bottom end with it yet. Mainly 7m weather. Normally straight onto the foil. 10knots up has been no probs. We''ll see

Re: Alpine/Axis/Slingshot-Moses

Yeah, I've got the Axis 2018 freeride wing and its really sweet. Easy, playful and quick enough when pushed. Performs all manoeuvres smoothly and has a lower stall speed than the lift nf2. I've not used my sword2 since I got the axis a couple of months ago. I also had the pleasure to use the surf 72...

Re: Holbox Mexico

Hey Grizwald, End of may is right at the end of the season in this part of Mexico. You may get the thermal for a couple of hours in the afternoon if there is no heavy cloud cover or rain. As previously stated by Saildawg there is a serious smell of bullshit coming from comekitewithus. Holbox gets pr...

Re: fastest free ride hydrofoil?

Check out the Axis Aluminium freeride foil. Alu fuse and strut, carbon front wing with g10 stabiliser. Super stable at both low and high speeds. I did a 34km there and 37km back trip the other day. 1 hour there, 1hour 15 back, At just over 30km/h average speed is not too shabby. I also wasn't trying...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

Thanks. It appears the android app doesn't yet support the gps or editing which is a shame but I found the csv file with all the data automatically stored. Lat Lon speed etc. will play around when I get the chance. Impressive. The setup with the linemount is slick and tangle free. the quick release ...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

Got to test my revl arc out yesterday. Heres a quick test edit. I'm super happy with the work flow. Battery lasted 50 minutes from more or less full charge. Look forward to messing around with it some more. A remote would make me even happier.
