Re: Tried for the first time a race board ... not happy!

I don’t like them either. I find the wide stance really tiring and uncomfortable

Re: Naish Foiling 2018

I would highly warn against using a short 70 cm mast for kitefoiling in the surf, too short and not good IMO :( For SUP it should be fine, but that is a very different thing. 8) PF Hi PF. I am now riding a 76cm mast exclusively in the surf with a Takuma SUP foil no problems. In fact, it makes the f...

Re: Chinese KB Hydrofoil : 300 USD + shipment

I had afoil fish and the board is not epoxy / glass over foam. Not inu the usual sense like a SB anyways. It has a seam running around the rim. On the plus side is is meant to be bulletproof. I quite liked mine all things considered, but I sold it 3 months after buying it as I wanted to go racing an...

Re: Best kite for sub 10 knot foiling

+1 large 1 strut kite

Don’t forget to add 20m extensions to your lines. Makes life much easier in the 35m+ line length area.

Re: Is it possible to kite a surf-foil?

That will be awesome if the new front wing is slightly faster for kiting but still retains most of its original characteristics.

Foiling in first attempt - how awesome is that !

Re: Is it possible to kite a surf-foil?

When you order you can choose whatever mast length you want, extra masts are available as well as custom lengths. I got 76cm.

Re: Is it possible to kite a surf-foil?

First session at home on the new china surf foil. I’m totally stoked by this package. Strong and versatile and affordable. It’s beautifully stable and quiet to ride - I think that’s the advantage of its weight. No vibration or noise whatsoever, and because it has a bit of mass it plots theu weed wit...

Re: Best kite for sub 10 knot foiling

You don’t mention what line lengths you are using. This is an incredibly cheap and effective upgrade. I don’t use anything bigger than an 11m kite at the moment (5 strut so it’s a bit heavy) but I use 36m lines. Double your lines up (super thin race lines if you can) and I bet you’ll be surprised ho...
