I’ve heard nothing - can you share a link ?

Would be interesting to see something with a lower AR than the s5

Re: Seat harness for Hydrofoiling. Which are you using and why?

Cheap Dakine seat (hand me down actually) with a dynabar stainless steel spreader bar. Gives plenty of support for boosting and lets me foil toeside easily. Also works on SB nicely too.

Mmm i can’t SUP to save myself but Gunnar (gmb) can. Maybe drop him a line. I’m pretty sure a leash is not a great idea when learning to sup foil.

Can you get behind a boat and learn to foil on flat water before riding a wave ?

Re: Wave Kiting – doubt about specific quiver vs. technique

Interesting thread. I am a frequent looper - in the waves I’m often in the wrong spot - chasing a section, outrunning whitewater , boxed in by a mate or stuck in the gully between close outs and the sand and occasionally need to accelerate dead downwind to get clear. 3-5 continuous loops does wonder...

Re: Chinese KB Hydrofoil : 300 USD + shipment

just got the same takuma clone as Jz perth....$438US plus plus. It looks solid. Haven't mounted it yet but stoked to give it a go. Also stoked that he listed it as value $50 for customs, which saved me another $100 or so in taxes, etc. He told me that the bulk purchase now down to 5, would have bee...

Rad that is the right company. There is no Takuma for $300 that was a carbon foil. You have to buy 10 Takumas do get the best price - I have just done this.

I don’t like them either. I find the wide stance really tiring and uncomfortable

Re: Naish Foiling 2018

I would highly warn against using a short 70 cm mast for kitefoiling in the surf, too short and not good IMO :( For SUP it should be fine, but that is a very different thing. 8) PF Hi PF. I am now riding a 76cm mast exclusively in the surf with a Takuma SUP foil no problems. In fact, it makes the f...
