Re: Best way to make a prototype

Plummet, I have now built a few foils, starting with crapola and now having a couple pretty nice setups. I found your explanation and lessons learned quite accurate and also validated a few things i have been trying(one being multiple holes for stab placement and size relation to that placement). Th...

Re: Prodigy??

One of the best all-around kites out there. Does everything well and very large wind range. Can't go wrong.

Re: Neo, Dice or Evo for 12m

I have found the 12Neo to be the solution for a 12m for me. It has as good or better power than any other 12 I've tried(many), turns faster than most while offering the customized bridal option. I had an 11m EVO and it was great but was def not as good a kite for my purposes as the Neo 12m. While th...

Re: Ocean Rodeo Mako Duke V1 vs V2

I have hundreds of days on the duke. It is my go-to do everything tough as nails multi-tool of kiteboarding board. The 5 fin option in my mind is the way to go. The quad rips upwind and is great on open face waves, the thruster at the back is unique and works very well for all around, but my favorit...

Re: Hard Wearing Low Stretch Lines

I have sets of Q-line with hundreds of days on them and they are still totally solid albieght a bit sun bleached. If you want durable, trustworthy line look no further. I have as well snapped all the other types of line out there, North specifically and that is why i switched to Q. No problems ever ...

Rear Stabilizer Wing

Ive been playing around with making mu own foil wings and have had good results for the most part. Now i am onto a SUP/Surf/KiteSURF style foil, similar to a Takuma. Question i have is whether the rear stabilizer needs to actually offer any lift(reversed on back i know), or wether just a symmetrical...

North Neo's Flapping

I recently put together a quiver of Neo's and love them. However, i noticed that they really flap around when brought across the window quickly. My 2016 12m worse than my 2017 8m. Anyone run into this?
