Re: broken line causes kite damage

one thing to consider is quality pulley so far never broke a line only pulley. sheavless pulley looks pretty neat, I wish there was option to upgrade pulley when you get a kite. I don't know if sheavless wear down bridle faster or not but at least no risk of sand getting stuck in pulley and breaking...

Re: Soloshot 3 - soup to nuts review

Testing the SS3 currently. Almost perfect...like a cameramen...but have a problem with shaking videos...need to see what I can do to fix it...or which software can fix it. If I can solve this, it is the best you can have to film you more than just few times. maybe weigh down the tripod. In photogra...

Re: Soloshot 3 - soup to nuts review

About having someone filming you, you don't really need it if you have a semi offshore setup with a slick. my buddy just setup an iphone or gopro on a pole in an offshore slick: sand bar lagoon pond bassin small island offshore. inlet In those setup you pretty much always jump exactly at same spot s...

Re: broken line causes kite damage

I don't think gear can break from a line snapping. I have broken some a few pulleys which is the same as a power line breaking and kite was fine. When you hit the quick release it puts all tension in 1 line and gear doesn't braek. Maybe some design with thin leading edge and spider bridle could have...

Re: Issue with Naish Kite leading edge, manufacturing defect ?

Could be some debris on beach or a bad manucure job  It s tough one, I have crashed my kites many times and never got a blown out, mostly seams getting loose and weird ernia around seams. I don't really inflate my kite rock solid though. So on pic we can't see the sides but looks like tear star...

Re: The best boosting kites. Your real world testing :)

1. Zian Hantu 9m 2016 ... Edit.: I´m not willing to change to a real "boosting" kite like the Edge or Rebel since I´m also very much into Kiteloops :D what's zian hantu, googled it but looks like it just came out. Re: Tips for learning to kite with a prosthetic leg.

Currently I am teaching kitesurfing to a man with 1 above the knee prosthetic leg. In the hope to find information about this I contacted Bille and searched through the forum. Bille said let's make this a public topic and here we are: This thread is meant to collect as much information as possible ...

Re: Most Comfy Kite Pads

I thought the old fone pad were really comfortable too just flimsy as crap, the binding plate/frame was like 1/16 th of an inch compared to 1/2 inch for every other pad out there. I broke 4 pads lol. haven't tried latest one. I love my naish apex but they are on the hard side even with the soft foam...
