Re: glass fiber or carbon?

Heavier boards are more comfortable, light boards are only fun if you do loads of boardoffs.

Re: Serious Big Air

Thanks for posting that picture of Lewis going huge with a backroll kiteloop. I wish I had the courage and skills to pull that move with that much amplitude. skills less, courage HUGE ! Skills yes, landing from that height and staying in control in gusty punchy 40+ kn wind does take quite some skil...

Re: Relaunch Chaos 2016, 2017 6. Line

It's a kite with great depower that rushes to the front of the window when you edge hard, just like the best gp, north vegas and airush razor. Haven't tried a torch or fuel really so can't comment on those. I did have a 14m torch 2013 for a few weeks but I didn't like that kite at all.

What you can expect from a C kite, bit better than my Best GP's.

My friends have them and yes, in low-wind you grab one front line and then when it lifts out of the water the opposing back line and it relaunches quite easily.

Re: Ride Engine / Hardshell Harnesses loose

The harness will only fit comfortabely when it's tight, the hard shell conforms to your back, if it's loose it's pressure is in the wrong place. If you want to use it for wave riding use the rope spreader bar.

Re: Best Kite GP V6 2017

Construction is pretty solid, never had any issues with the 2015 and 2017 models except for valves coming off on the 2015 gp's.

Re: Big Kiteloops always end in an enema

Don't loop anything bigger than a 9m i'd say unless you're pro and ride a 10m in 35kn.

Re: Best Kite GP V6 2017

Great freestyle kite, very stable (not twitchy), slacks well. The kite jumps well when powered and with that I mean REALLY powered, with my 9m I need 35+ knots to really go big and I weigh around 78kg. It's low-end is pretty bad overall but it's high-end is endless (had the 9m out yesterday in 42kn ...
