Re: what size F one mitu.

Old thread but I'm also looking at a 2015 mitu pro and not sure if 5'8 is the right size for me. I'm 72kg. Can ride strapless , currently have an OR Mako Duke but looking for a more traditional surfboard that will be good for smallish waves. Is the mm pro in 5'8a good fit?? For your weight I would ...

Re: Naish Bar with Cabrinha Kites?

You must attach a set of pigtails to your Drifter in order to reverse the loops and knots. Naish bars have knots and Cabrinha bars have loops on the steering lines. I use Naish bars with my Drifters for more then 4 years. They are fully compatible if you reverse the knots and loops. I own only Drift...

Re: Pinhole woes

Interesting finding. I would have expected it to be the other way around. The LE fabric should keep the bladder from stretching beyond a certain size. By removing from the fabric you should be able to pump up so the tube expands to be larger (diameter) so you would expect the stretch of the holes t...

Re: Who is an ambidextrous foiler?

I know many guys who are VERY assym and get even worse each session only doing what they do well not working the weaker side. To each his own! R H :thumb: Since the very beginning when I started kiting (only a few sessions on a twin tip and then surfboard) I am trying to do everything in the same w...

Re: How to turn a hydrofoil - and what is YAW ?

Went out today and focussed some time on my turns. I specifically yaw turned to see what effect it has. I do concede that you can turn a tight arc using yaw as a primary function. :thumb: Tighter, more radical turns are obviously done with more aggressive yaw of the foilboard. However as turning me...

The front wheel actually turns in the OPPOSITE direction which initiates the roll of the bike toward the direction the bike ...

Re: Countersteering

In fact if the analogy between turning a bike and a KBHF is accurate (I am not sure)... The analogy is not accurate and not applicable at all because leaning to the inside of the turn causes the bike to change its shape (the front wheel turns and actually initiates the turn) which is not the case w...
