Re: F one Diablo V1 12m

I have the Diablo 11m V1.
I use it for light wind foiling, (80kg) a 600cm2 front wing gets me going in around 7 knots, with my 1000cm2 wing I get flying in a little less wind...
Im very happy with the V1. its a great kite!

cheers

Re: Ocean Rodeo Mako vs Nomad Wave TT

Unfortunately, we don't have wind to try it, but Im confident she will love it. Simon was up most professional during the "design" process and since t...

Re: Oceanus kite reels: i still see them

in light of the possibility that something could get court in it, I take everything of for kiteing. (inc. necklace and wedding ring)
maybe the reels should be attached to the harness with a quick release similar to the safety leash QR.

cheers

Re: Oceanus kite reels: i still see them

I have an unusual - and perhaps freak - reel leash anecdote to share (albeit no idea of the brand - not that it mattered in this instance). I was out in ~25kts with 4ft swells attempting to learn water starts. Due to repeated failures, my instructor equipped me with a board leash to optimize my tim...

Re: Relaunching a kite while holding board

in light or border line wind I try to recover my board first and use it as "resistance" (on my feet or sitting on it) to get the kite back up.
in most all other cases kite first, then board...
