Re: New North Foil's 'PA Carbon Mix 50'

It looks like there's some manufacturing/destructiblily issues with the new north foil. Saw this on facebook where a guy softly hit a sandbank on his first run. I don't know why they'd use that composite instead of a cnc'ed alu fuselage other than it's cheaper to pump a mold full of resin. Screen Sh...

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Nothing too special, but here's a video of me maneuvering around a bunch of moored boats in New Zealand on the XLW wings. Great control through the turns and can go much slower than the normal wings.

Re: DIY onestrut kite

Hello Kitexpert: Looks cool! I'm currently testing these for hydrofoil use. Both have either straight (luffable) or profiled user remove-able center struts and short fixed no pulley bridles. True 9sqm weight is 2Kg without strut, 2.5kg with. Cheers! Hansen-MSR-1a.jpg Hansen-MSR-2a.jpg Looks good Bi...

Re: Hydrofoil in 8/12 knots at 80Kg(176lbs) rider what kite size better?

My 13.4m BRM Cloud D works great in light wind. It's the same weight (2.3kg) as my 5m Switch Element 4 3-strut kite so it hangs in the sky. When the wind has nearly completely dropped I've been able to continuously downloop it on the edge of the window to drag me into shore without dropping the kite.

Interesting to see that Maxime Norcher has switched to the FS Sonic Race, but apparently isn't sponsored by FS. In the Enata thread, they state the "relationship with him was terminated due to misconduct." They didn't expand on that but it could be why he also isn't sponsored by FS. Anyone know mor...

Re: Shinn Jackson foil 120

My personal experience , had a go on the bigger size board (I think 135) equipped with an alloy mast and yellow wings. After foilboarding for 12 years and having owned and tested a dozen foils it was my worst foilboarding experience. It's a toy. Plastic wings you can actually bend with your fingesr...
