Re: At last ... got to ride the Rebel (2018) and XR5 back to back

Google "2up1down" to get an idea of how it works or at least of whats happening. Or just for fun.

Re: Xensr vs Woo Sports

Interesting. I don't mind so much but that is a big difference between WOO and Xensr.. I ended up with both WOO2 and Xensr(1) and in my case the Xensr quite clearly indicates lower jumps than the WOO. Although I might have to upgrade the Xensr software (almost every month??) and I'm only comparing m...

Re: Shinn Ronson review

I've never even seen a Shinn board but its interesting how I don't think I've ever seen anything but really positive reviews on them - and lots of those. Probably the first make I would look at for my next board.

Re: Video: C-Kites Vs Everything: Versus w/ Rygo

I mostly use a C4 (bridled C/hybrid) and every time I use that or something similar (FX, TS) it feels great, basically no time needed to adapt. And when I try a more allround/freeride kite (NRG, switchblade, kahoona, XR) it's horrible. I've always thought that I just need to get used to them but I h...

Nice video as usual JeromeL, they are encouraging. Maybe one day I'll be as good as you, well, probably not, at least not in less than 1,5 years... Looking forward to the raileys to blind.

Re: Kite companies - please stop the wakestyle hype!

The new (2.0) WOO's have a "big air" mode as well as a "freestyle" mode. But the freestyle is pretty much wakestyle as I indicated before - if the kite is redirected during the trick, it gets almost no points. But you can push yourself in most wind conditions. I'm pretty much alone where I kite and ...

Re: Kite companies - please stop the wakestyle hype!

Speaking of wakestyle vs freeride, I find it surprising how few people appear to use the WOO freestyle mode. Once you've kited a few times in lots of wind the big air mode would lose some of its attraction ? While in the freestyle mode you can keep on pushing yourself or increasing your score in mos...
