Re: 2016 switchblade and overdrive 1x trim lite bar

First off, I'm not throwing this feedback aside. If you go back and read my response, I provide simple facts so that rumors wouldn't be taken as fact, and so that current inline product isn't mistakenly generalized with feedback from prior seasons' equipment. Feedback from 2015 was that a smoother ...

Re: Copper Aluminum paste as tef gel alternative ?

I'm a Tefgel fan having used it for many years on my Aluminum boat. As an alternative to TefGel, I would also consider https://www.westmarine.com/buy/forespar ... or--129975

Re: How to make a high Y bar ?

Just loop a small stainless steel ring onto the non flag line and run the flag line through the ring. Added pic but I did not have flying line or small stainless steel ring handy but you get the idea... IMG_2096.JPG try the ring idea! maybe it will stick in place for you, but it never worked for me...

Re: Going Over Swell with Hydrofoil

Depending on the size of the swell and wind direction, you turn to run along the front and back face as if you were surfing a wave. More time to adjust the foil/board to the angle of the swell. If you approach it dead on, greater chance you are going to eat air on the back side.

Re: Wind meters?

No. I find wind in my face and white caps on the water a good indication of kite size. I have an ikitesurf wind meter for my iPhone and never really used it. I will rig for expected conditions so may start under powered but my sessions tend to be long and far miles away from launch. if I am struggli...

Re: Blown or deflated LE while on water

I was involved with a rescue at the Event Site Hood River earlier this week. A North kite lost its leading edge and kiter spent considerable time trying to relaunch it. I told the downed kiter to pack up his kite and together with another kiter assisting, I towed the kite and another kiter towed the...

Re: FS Sonic Race review anyone?

Very very light bar pressure. Overall, nice. A complete waste of time and money for a twintip or surfboard. Please explain why. Thanks much! I'm just a rider and can only suggest that the mixer together with the reduction of kite attachment points has led to minimizing bar pressure... It was sweet!

All of their development focus is in bridle and mixer so I would guess that there is much to do. Certainly the testing in May, it looked awful.
