Re: Best one peice to wear under drysuit ?

Re: bulk line

Liros only has one USA distributor, Paratour, and they are not really into this side of the biz. I had better luck ordering from a shop in Europe and having them ship it to me. Re: Core and German engineering meme

Every single kite brand has their issues. When I first started kiting, I expected brand support but quickly found that it was minimal especially for consumables like bars and lines. Thats when my focus changed from complaining about it to doing something. None of the gear I use today is standard ma...

Re: Self Landing Foilkites in 20+kts

Does not happen often... I bring it down the side of the window until the tip touching the beach then flag it out. Ideally the flag line is the lower line. Last time I did this, the kite was well behaved.

Re: Packing up a foil kite with wet bar

I will rollup the kite with the bar in front of the leading edge and put the kite back in the bag with the bar outside the bag in the outside pocket. Still have the benefits of bar attached to kite without a soggy mess.

Re: Which is your preferred trim system?

The North/Duotone click rar does not handle looping well and will bind... Totally frustrating for me. I have the OR Click Bar I use for my LEI's but it does not have any metal in the center hole and I don't like the feeling of the PU tube to bar interface - Feels rough. For my foil kites I have been...

Problem with Click-bar is that it binds if you turn the kite which is IMO the worst thing in kite bars and foil kites like to be sheeted.
+1. I tried the Click bar for one session and the binding while looping was too much hassle.

Many of us live in sharks infested waters as well ;)
Plenty of wildlife in the ocean throughout the world. Shark sightings are common in SoCal.
