Re: Most Comfortable Harness

Wear an old XL Mystic Warrior 2 around my chest. Can't ride up ( already to armpit ), does not hurt broken rib!!!, and phenomenal for freestyle foiling. If I want to boost or race, seat harness or shorts.

Sun clothes, gloves, helmet with soft brim screwed to it, water glasses with Bekos nose guard superglued in place. A bit of sun goo to lips. Set. ( variations on this for several years in Florida surviving high speed crashes and up to head high surf...)

I'll be sixty this year and the bodies capacity to heal or adapt is good!

Re: Knee injury upon landing jump; thoughts on what it is?

Did it myself several years ago...hard fall, left posterior knee pain, severe reduction in range of motion and lots of swelling for 1-2 weeks (but it worked and I could weight-bear almost immediately after). I thought I had broken my leg and jaw on original impact. RICE, stability check for meniscal...

Re: MHL Lift 2013 or Moses Fluente for Learning

Meant to add, I learned on a 2013 lift. Fine foil, beautiful carbon foil and board. But as I approach 60, looking for stability and predictability over light weight or speed. Cheers

Re: MHL Lift 2013 or Moses Fluente for Learning

A great value IMO is a wheeler wing (by Matt wheeler up in the Gorge ) hammerhead or large gull - great for learning, but you'll not likely outgrow it unless your going to race as it is phenomenal for freestyle ( have 2 since so taken with first!)

Re: Drysuit help please

Selection I can't help with ( OR Soul ), but I vote resoundingly yes! I ride in Florida mostly and haven't missed a day due to cold in 2 yrs. Dry suit in Florida? I get cold easily, and wetsuits didn't keep me warm enough in winter. A bit of extra care- maybe. Mostly just different.

Re: Don't show us your hook

Should have included above: the CCS can be switched between riders easily while in air also, just as you did with hook when learning.

Re: Don't show us your hook

Do it regularly; clip to small ring, then switch to CCS connection. Just as you would with a CL...

Re: Don't show us your hook

this CL could be placed around bar, but requires 3 screws to be removed and replaced to do so. I don't want CL there permanently flopping around when riding cloud/CCS or Ozone with its CL on sliding ring...( the cloud barely moves/pivots) but my kids who kite a bit less frequently but share my kites...
