Re: Boosting Hydrofoil

I think if you are very skilled you can jump higher with foilkites, but the spots I kite regularly higher winds equal gustier too. Also I never foilboost in anything smaller than 9m cause the lack of hangtime of smaller kites makes me land very hard on the wing an it worries me a bit to broke my 200...

Re: Ozone Edge V9: Post Pictures & Information Here

Yesterday I finally had the chance to test my brand new V9 13m in decent conditions, 15-20 knots with lulls to 10 or so, I,m 90 kg, board Shinn Ronson 138. The biggest improvement in the V9 ( I had V8 before) is the stability. You can boost to the moon and you are total confident that you will land ...

Re: Power.

It's always fun to jump high with the 15m foil and foilboard combo when the cool kids can barely go with C kite and twin tip with boots

Although the coolness will be always with them

Re: Windy Baltic yesterday

Nice boosting footage!

A good point for kiters that still thinks that foils are only for ride back and forth

Re: Enata?

Oh! Enata kites finally out!

It' a proven kite racing design, right, but we want to see a video/review showing it's airstyle capabilities!

Re: More and more riders on less and less spots?

True. I also go to Leucate when winds get offshore in my home spot, and I noticed a lot of spots were closed in the last years. As soon as you show with a kite somebody comes and say kiting is forbidden in that place. Last weekend is the first time I kited in the sea in Leucate (La Franqui) and I fo...

Re: Influence of line attachment points on kite characteristics

In my own experience, changing the knot on the less bar pressure max turn speed in my Ozone Enduro is the best move I could ever done.

Right now the improved turning speed increased a lot my confidence to throw kiteloops, and with less bar presdure the kite is lesd tiring, so a win win!

Re: Foil vs TT at Body/Board dragging!

Actually I think with a foilboard you are able to get an upwind angle bodydragging in light wind conditions comparable with the maximum upwind angle you can get with a powered up twin tip.

So don't worry much about it, foilboards bodydrag very well also!
